We are comfortable with majority or minority shareholding positions and like to give our investee companies the freedom they need to operate effectively.

The investment returns we generate are derived primarily through growth, not leverage. We selectively use debt where appropriate and seek to ensure the capital structure is appropriate for the stage and growth profile of the business.

Our focus is on key target sectors where we seek strong opportunities overlooked by others. Two key sector themes that we focus on are:

  • health and wellbeing

  • digitisation of the economy.

Partnership opportunities

We’ve invested $7 million to upwards of $50 million into profitable businesses with track records of growth and demonstrated competitive advantages in their market.

Equity shares range from 36% up to 95%. We partner with businesses based in Australia and New Zealand and generally those between $10m and $80m in Enterprise Value which seek $10m to $30m of capital.

We are always interested to hear from businesses and often seek opportunities to partner with companies and individuals who have well-developed strategies and a sustainable outlook on growth.

Portfolio Management: We’re active investors who add value through focussed strategy, sourcing great talent and genuine partnership and support on growth initiatives. We focus on protecting capital as well as growth.

Exit: Deliberate, systematic and planned exit strategies for all portfolio companies that are assessed quarterly.
